  Council Future Teacher Scholarship (Student) - Students can pick up the application in their school counselor's office.
  Council Teacher Scholarship - Contact the Council Scholarship Chairman, Connie Chilcote via email Cstampnmama@aol.com for application information.
 
Reflections Guidelines, Rules & Forms

Go to the Texas PTA website & Login ( remember that your username & password are on the back of your membership card), this will take you to the Intranet Member page, scroll down to the Reflections link at the bottom of the page under Programs. This will take you to the Reflections page. You can download all the General Rules, Student Entry Forms & Guidelines here. Click on the Reflections Chairman Procedures and Checklists located in the middle of the page & the link will take you to the Member Forms page. Click on the the Reflections Chairman Procedures and Checklists link at the beginning of the page. It will jump to the middle of the page where you will find more important information for the Reflections program.

Arts in Education Award
Recognizes participation in the advancement of the arts in schools and communities through education and enrichment activities.
  Electronic Newsletter Award
Recognizes the creation of newsletters in an electronic format that keep their members informed about school and PTA issues in a clear, accessible and inviting style.
  Environmental Award
Recognizes participation in environmental projects, programs and education.
  Healthy Lifestyles Achievement Award
Recognizes participation in health and wellness related activities that place an emphasis on health and wellness issues affecting schools, students and their families.
  Legislative Action Award
Recognizes advocacy for the enactment of legislation on behalf of Texas children and families.
 

Membership Campaign Award
Recognizes creative use of the Texas PTA Membership Theme in activities and programs that promote recruiting, enrolling, reporting and retaining members in Texas PTA.

 

Newsletter Award
Recognizes the creation of newsletters in a traditional printed format that keep their members informed about school and PTA issues in a clear, accessible and inviting style.

 

Parent Education Programming Award
Recognizes use of timely, relevant programs to help educate their members about topics that relate to their children.

 

Student Involvement Award
Recognizes significant student contributions in areas of leadership, membership and project participation.

 

Web Site Award
Recognizes the creation of dynamic, exciting Web sites to disseminate PTA and Council PTA news and information in a clear, accessible and inviting style.

Texas PTA Membership Year Round Awards (Download forms at www.txpta.org)
  Golden Apple Award
Presented to each local PTA that recruits 100% of school faculty. Texas PTA’s definition of faculty is: principals, assistant principals, teachers, counselors, and aides employed at the campus full time. Appropriate award form must be submitted.

Individual Hero Award
Presented to any member who recruits 10 or more members. Appropriate award form must be submitted.

Student Membership Achievement
Presented to each local PTA that recruits 25 or more student members. Appropriate award from must be submitted.

Membership Campaign Award

Presented to local PTAs in recognition of outstanding recruitment of members in Texas PTA. Submit form to Texas PTA by May 15, 2010.
